About US
OUR STORY
FAMILY OWNED. FAMILY OPERATED. BUILT ON TRUST.
At Boone’s Buggies, family isn’t just part of our business. It’s the foundation of everything we do.
Established in 2016 in Fair Play, South Carolina, Boone’s Buggies was founded by Ryan Hix and proudly named after his son, Boone.
What began as a small, family-owned golf cart business was built on a simple set of values: honesty, integrity, hard work, and treating people right.
Nearly a decade later, those same values continue to drive us forward.
From our beginnings in golf carts to our exciting expansion into the powersports industry, we’ve remained committed to delivering quality products, exceptional service, and lasting relationships with our customers.
FAMILY LEADERSHIP. PERSONAL COMMITMENT.
At Boone’s Buggies, we believe a successful business is built by the people who show up every day and take pride in what they do.
Today, our day-to-day leadership is driven by two dedicated members of the family.
Ron Hix | General Manager
Ron’s leadership helps guide the direction of Boone’s Buggies, keeping our focus on customer satisfaction, quality products, and the values that built our reputation.
Brayden | Operations Manager
Brayden plays a vital role in keeping our daily operations running smoothly, supporting our team, and ensuring our customers receive the level of service they’ve come to expect.
Together, Ron and Brayden represent the next chapter of Boone’s Buggies — combining the family values we were founded on with the ambition and dedication to take our business into the future.
Founder Ryan Hix remains committed to the company’s long-term vision while giving the leadership team the opportunity to grow, innovate, and make their own mark.
Different roles. One family. One shared commitment to doing business the right way.
BUILT ON GOLF CARTS. EXPANDING INTO POWERSPORTS.
Golf carts are where our journey began, and they will always be an important part of who we are.
As our customers’ needs continue to evolve, so does Boone’s Buggies.
We’re proud to expand our offerings into the electric powersports market, including the innovative HXE1 electric side-by-side.
From neighborhood cruising and campground adventures to demanding work around the farm or property, our growing lineup is designed to bring together performance, reliability, and value.
We’re embracing the future of powersports without forgetting the products, customers, and community that helped us get here.
OUR NAME. OUR REPUTATION. OUR LEGACY.
When Boone’s Buggies was founded in 2016, it was named after a son. Today, that name represents an entire family’s dedication to building something meaningful.
We’re proud of our roots in Fair Play, South Carolina, grateful for the customers who have supported us along the way, and excited for what the future holds.
While our business continues to grow, our commitment remains unchanged.
Treat people right. Stand behind what we sell. Never forget where we came from.
Because Boone’s Buggies is more than a dealership.
It’s a family name, a shared passion, and a legacy built to last.
